Dashboard Settings
You can customize the way you group documents in the dashboard:
Grouping documents by ProjectWise workflow and tracking by workflow state:
- Dashboards allow listing ProjectWise project documents grouped by assigned ProjectWise workflow - this allows seeing an overview of all project documents and how many documents have specific workflow assigned (ex. "Engineering documents", "General documents" workflows).
- Dashboards then also allow selecting any specific workflow and listing documents by workflow state - this allows tracking how many documents are in specific workflow state (ex. "Draft", "In progress" or "100% done").
Note: If you are using workflows for document status tracking, then you will not need to do any Project Performance Dashboards configuration. Appropriate charts will be automatically displayed and populated in the Dashboard page.
Grouping and tracking ProjectWise document completeness using two ProjectWise attributes:
- Dashboards allow grouping all ProjectWise documents by values of a ProjectWise attribute (ex. attributes can be "Discipline", "Target milestone", "Specification" or "Area"). This allows seeing an overview of all project documents grouped by values of any specific business attribute (ex. how many documents are there, that have HVAC discipline assigned; or how many documents are related to "Specification 1").
- Dashboards then also allow tracking project documents status/completeness, using values of another ProjectWise attribute (ex. attribute "% Complete" with possible values of: 10%, 30%, 60%, 90%, 100%). You may configure your ProjectWise to allow seeing the number of documents in HVAC discipline grouped by completeness - for example see how many HVAC documents have reached the "100% complete" state.
